The petitioner is in custody since 09.07.2019 in connection with Darpa P.S. Case No. 70 of 2019 for the offence registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been taken into custody on mere suspicion. It is further submitted that similarly situated co-accused person, namely, Subodh Singh has been extended the privilege of bail vide order dated 19.09.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 59158 of 2019.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, let
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62368 of 2019(2) dt.17-10-2019 2/2 the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Jude, Excise Act, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Darpa P.S. Case No. 70 of 2019.
