Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Sheikhpura (Kusumbha) P.S. Case No.372 of 2016, registered under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

Submission is that the petitioner was neither put on TIP nor any incriminating article was recovered from his possession, only material against him is the disclosure of his name in the confessional statement of a co-accused, Raj Babbar, the petitioner is in custody since 07.09.2017 and police has completed the investigation.

Having considered the said facts and circumstances, petitioner Jitendra Kumar is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two
