JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 31-10-2018 The matter relates to filling up the vacancies of 34,540 teachers pursuant to Advertisement No. 210/2010 published by Bihar Staff Selection Commission (hereinafter referred to as 'the Commission'). The matter was taken to the Supreme Court on different occasions and thereafter the commission has invited objection for preparation of final select list of 2613 candidates out of the total 34,540 vacancies. After inviting objection, the Commission is proceeding ahead to finalize the list.
In view of the aforesaid, no positive direction can be issued in the instant case. The Commission is expected to finalize the list so that appointment can be made on the left over
Patna High Court CWJC No.1690 of 2014(4) dt.31-10-2018 2/2 2613 vacancies. The Court hopes and trusts that the Commission will act in accordance with law and consider the candidature of all eligible candidates in accordance with the principles laid down by the Apex Court, which may include consideration of the case of the petitioner, if it is covered by the decision of the Apex Court.
With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
