Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 341, 379, 504, 506, 364 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 153 of the Railway Act.

The petitioners are in custody since 22.12.2017. They were apprehended at the spot when attempting to commit theft in the running train.

Submission is that nothing has been recovered from possession of the petitioners. Investigation of the case is already complete and the petitioners are ready to cooperate with

Considering the nature of allegation and period already undergone, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Jamalpur Rail Police Station Case No. 109 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
