The petitioner is accused in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 73 of 2018, registered under Sections 30(a)38 and 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The accusation is of recovery of 180 bottles, each containing 750 ML of Indian made foreign liquor from a vehicle bearing Reg. No. DL4CAS-8026, which was being driven by this petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 27.01.2018.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17006 of 2018(2) dt.28-03-2018 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge (Excise), Gaya in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 73 of 2018.
