JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 09-11-2017 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kotwali PS case no. 540 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 384 of Indian Penal Code. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner tried to extort money from the informant and upon being apprehended by the police, a sum of Rs. 100/- was recovered from his pocket.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 22.08.2017.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53497 of 2017 (2) dt.09-11-2017 2/2 sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur in connection with Kotwali PS case no. 540 of 2017.
