JUSTICE NANI TAGIA ORAL ORDER 14-05-2025 This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of order dated 08.05.2019 passed in CWJC No. 22906 of 2018, whereby, the District Magistrate, Nalanda was directed to consider afresh for grant of Arms licence to the petitioner, in the light of 2016 Rules and the judgment of Division Bench passed in LPA No. 758 of 2018.

2. Opposite party Nos. 2, 3 and 6 have filed a show cause, wherein, in paragraph No. 9 it has been stated that upon

Patna High Court MJC No.3919 of 2019(3) dt.14-05-2025 2/2 consideration of the entire facts and circumstances of the case, the application for grant of Arms licence of the petitioner was rejected by an order dated 03.05.2025 as contained in memo No. 184, issued by the District Magistrate, Nalanda. A copy of the order has also been annexed as Annexure - R/H.

3. On perusal of the show cause filed by the opposite party Nos. 2, 3 and 6, I find that the order dated 08.05.2019 passed in CWJC No. 22906 of 2018 has been duly complied with by the respondents.

4. In view of the above, this contempt application stands closed and disposed off with liberty granted to the petitioner to challenge the rejection order, if so advised. (Nani Tagia, J) Siddharth Sagar/- U
