JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-11-2025 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, learned APP appearing on behalf of the State and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant/Opposite Party No. 2.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a complaint case registered for the offence punishable under Section 366A of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, it is alleged that this petitioner kidnapped the minor daughter of informant for the purpose of marriage.

4. Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a case which was registered in the year 2014 and there is no plausible explanation as to why petitioner moved this Court for grant of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71323 of 2025(3) dt.27-11-2025 2/2 pre-arrest bail after lapse of more than 11 years in the year 2025. The present application is highly belated and it appears that the petitioner has got no reasonable apprehension of his arrest in the case.

5. Considering the gross unexplained delay in moving this pre-arrest bail application, prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
