2. The present petition has been preferred for modification of the order dated 07.10.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 59929 of 2023 by the Hon'ble Court suitably to the extent that the time granted to surrender and furnish bail bond within four weeks from the date of receipt of the aforesaid order, be graciously be pleased to extend the date of surrender so that the petitioner being lady can furnish the bail bond.
3. From the record, it is clear that the order was passed on 07.10.2023 in Cr. Misc. No. 59929 of 2023 (Lalita Devi @ Lalita Kumari vs. The State of Bihar). Two years later,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75841 of 2025(2) dt.07-11-2025 2/2 the present modification petition has been filed submitting that for being a villager, she could not understand the integrity of the order and as such, failed to surrender/seek bail. For the said lapse, she is ready to pay Rs.1,000/- to Patna High Court Legal Services Committee beside the earlier payment of Rs.5,000/- which was part of the earlier order dated 07.10.2023.
4. Learned APP opposes the prayer submitting that the lady took two years to come to this Court.

Though the objection put forward by the learned APP is valid, taking into account the fact that she is a villager, failed to understand the present order, the original petition shows that she has no criminal antecedent, in that background, this Court is inclined to extend the time for surrender subject to payment of Rs.6,000/- (Rs.5,000/- + Rs.1,000/-) to Patna High Court Legal Services Committee.
6. The period of surrender is extended by four weeks from today.
