For the Petitioner/s :

Mr.Ashok Kumar Yadav For the Opposite Party/s :

Mr.Dr. Ajeet Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 08-01-2020 This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Naugachia P.S. Case No. 220 of 2019, disclosing offences under Sections 364 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case is that the daughter of the petitioner had love affair with a boy and due to which, the petitioner performed her marriage with some other person. Later on she fled away from her matrimonial house and petitioner brought her back to the house and after some time, she became traceless and it is alleged that she was killed by the petitioner and the dead body was disposed of.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is father of the deceased and except suspicion, there is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62045 of 2019(3) dt.08-01-2020 2/2 absolutely nothing against the petitioner.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner on the ground that this a case of honour killing and impugned order shows that there are materials against the petitioner in the case diary.

Having heard both sides, considering the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
