The petitioner has been in custody since 27.01.2017 in connection with Sarai Ranjan P.S. Case No. 163 of 2015 for the offence registered under Sections 304-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is evident from the order sheet that the trial has commenced and is pending in the court of First Track Court No. 1, Samastipur bearing S.T. No. 465 of 17/ 231 of 2017. In view of the fact that the petitioner is the husband, who has moral responsibility toward his wife, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. It is accordingly, rejected. However, the court concerned is directed to expedite the trial and ensure its conclusion after taking up on day-to-day
