2. The petitioner apprehends his/her arrest in connection with Isuapur P.S. Case No. 126 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016

3. As per allegation, police personnel received a secret information that a truck bearing registration no. PB11CF8835, was parked near a petrol pump which was loaded with foreign liquor. On search, 2398.68 liters of foreign liquor was recovered from his vehicle.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72901 of 2023(3) dt.29-02-2024 2/2 that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and he is a person of clean antecedent. Nothing was recovered from his conscious possession.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime is revealed from the FIR itself.

6. In view of the above considerations, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, which is hereby rejected.
