JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 12-04-2018 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner, already in custody since 18.10.2017, seeks bail in Gopalpur PS Case No. 195 of 2017 registered under Sections 379, 411, 414, 401, 403, 413, 467, 468, 471, 419 and 420/34 of the IPC. The allegation in brief is that this petitioner along with two others were apprehended with two stolen motorcycle with changed registration number and they are said to be member of the gang dealing in stealing and selling stolen motorcycles and subsequent to their confessional statement several motorcycles were recovered from the possession of other accused along with forged papers of the motorcycle.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was a pillion rider and he is in custody since 18.10.2017. Whereas learned Counsel for the State submits that bail of similarly situated accused Utpal Kant was earlier rejected by this Court.
Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is also rejected, however the petitioner may renew prayer for bail after six months. Snkumar/- (Arun Kumar, J) U T
