In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 592 of 2018 registered for offences under sections 384, 385, 387 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 66 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. As per First Information Report, the petitioner has demanded extortion money amounting Rs. 5 lakh. The mobile number has been given.

From paragraph no.3 of the present bail application, it appears that the petitioner is carrying criminal antecedent of altogether five cases of serious nature.

The petitioner is in custody since 27.02.2019. Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62139 of 2019(3) dt.20-11-2019 2/2 case as also the petitioner have criminal antecedent, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected with a liberty to renew his prayer for bail after one year of his judicial custody.
