Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner is that he gave a dagger blow to his son at the chest, as a result whereof, he died. The informant is wife of the victim. Wife of the petitioner has also supported the allegation before the police.
Hence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Muffasil Police Station Case No. 370 of 2014 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari/successor court.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10657 of 2018 (3) dt.09-04-2018 Hence, prayer for bail is refused.
The learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
