2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kopa P.S. Case No. 142/2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 74, 75, 76 of B.N.S. and Sections 8 and 10 of P.O.C.S.O. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner is alleged to have committed rape of four year old girl child.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the case. Learned counsel further submits that he has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 07.06.2025. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the case/ trial.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner on the ground that there is direct allegation against him that he committed rape of a four year old girl.

6. Considering the serious allegation levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
