The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Patliputra P.S. Case No.42 of 2019 registered under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the instant case has been instituted by the informant in retaliation to SC/ST P.S. Case No. 3 of 2019 dated 15.01.2019 registered inter alia under Sections 384, 386 and 467 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3(1)(r)(w) and 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 instituted by the husband of the petitioner against the informant and others. He contended that the

Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, who is in custody since 27.07.2019 and her custodial interrogation is not warranted, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Judge-XII-cum-ACJM, Patna in connection with Patliputra P.S. Case No.42 of 2019. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J) kanchan/- U T
