ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 21-11-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the State. The petitioner is in custody since 05.09.2018, in connection with Brahmpura P.S. Case No. 291 of 2018 for the offenses under Sections 30 (a), 38, 41 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier the prayer for bail for the petitioner was rejected on 19.02.2019 with liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after six months, if there is no substantial progress made in the trial. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that now the aforementioned period has lapsed and, therefore, the petitioner may be extended the privilege of the bail.
