2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 693 of 2022 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 504, 506, 384, 307, 379, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, the accusation against the petitioner along with other accused persons is of demanding rangdari from the informant and also assaulting him and his friend Hanuman Sahu by means of knife, dagger, fists and leg. It is further alleged that the accused persons also snatched Rs. 7500/- from the pocket of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the

There is no specific or direct allegation of any overt act against the petitioner rather the same is general and omnibus in nature. The specific allegation of assault is against the co-accused Raushan Kumar and one Dinku Paswan. The petitioner has committed no offence rather has been made victim of the circumstances. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 25.05.2025 and has four criminal antecedents and in all of them, he is on bail. He further submits that the coaccused Dinku Paswan @ Rajesh Paswan has already been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 17.01.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 79208 of 2024. Charge-sheet has been submitted in this case.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, nature of allegation against the petitioner, the period of custody undergone by the petitioner as also the prayer for bail being based on parity, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of
