Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 1.8.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No32403 of 2017 on merit.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is in custody for more than 1 1⁄2 year and six witnesses have been examined.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the fact that there is allegation against the petitioner of firing, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, as the trial is in progress, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it as soon as possible.
