Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 341, 342, 354A, 376, 506, 323 and 354B of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner is of commission of rape against the informant. Independent witness has also supported the allegation before the police.
Hence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 31 of 2017 pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhaka East Champaran, Motihari.
Accordingly, prayer for bail is refused.
The learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
