The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Korma P.S. Case No. 65 of 2017 registered under Section 366/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 POCSO Act. The accusation is of kidnapping the daughter of the informant, aged about 16 years, by the petitioner with the help of co-accused, Sanjay Ram.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, the victim fell in love with the petitioner and performed the marriage according to her own sweet will. The statement of the victim has been recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C., on 09.02.2018, in which, she has disclosed the aforesaid facts, which would appear from Annexure 2 to the petition.

No.29023 of 2018(2) dt.10-05-2018 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Ist Additional District and Sessions Judge, Sheikhpura, in connection with Korma P.S. Case No. 65 of 2017, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
