The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special P.S. Excise No. 118 of 2017, arising out of Hathauri P.S. Case No. 149 of 2016 dated 25.12.2016 instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273 and 290 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. The petitioner is in custody since 12.09.2017. Around 144 litres of liquor was found from the place of occurrence and the petitioner is alleged to have concealed the aforesaid consignment. The petitioner, though, is an accused in similar nature of offences in many cases but in all such cases, he is on bail.

No.56837 of 2017 (2) dt.01-12-2017 named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Muzaffarpur in connection with Special P.S. Excise No. 118 of 2017, arising out of Hathauri P.S. Case No. 149 of 2016.
