JUSTICE SHAILENDRA SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-11-2025 The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following reliefs :- "(i) To incorporate and duly record the Khata Number, Khesra Number along with their correct boundaries after conducting spot verification in Register-II in respect of the petitioner's land admeasuring 03 decimals, which has been recorded as Jamabandi No. 93, Tauji No.- 3707, Mauja-Saharsa, Halka-Nagar Parishad.

(ii) Further be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to update and correct the revenue records so as to reflect the lawful and accurate entries of the petitioner's land in Register-

(iii) The petitioner further prays for any other relief/reliefs that the petitioner is entitled to in the fact and circumstances in the case."

2. Mr. Om Prakash Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Madanjeet Singh, learned GP-20 for the State-respondents, are present and they are heard.

The main grievance raised by the petitioner in this writ petition is that no action has been taken on her application dated 23.07.2025, filed before the Circle Officer, Kahra, Saharsa (respondent No. 5), in which a prayer was made for updating the Khata Number, Khesra Number and for making corrections with regard to the boundaries of the petitioner's land in register-II. The said application is pending since 23.07.2025.

4. Considering the nature of the issue raised by the petitioner as well as its stage, this Court is not persuaded to invoke its writ jurisdiction to redress her grievance, however, the Circle Officer, Kahra, Saharsa (respondent No. 5), is directed to expedite the petitioner's application dated 23.07.2025 and decide the same preferably in the next three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Court's order or production of the same.

5. Accordingly, with the above direction, the instant writ petition stands disposed of.
