Patna High Court CWJC No.19015 of 2017(3) dt.24-06-2025 2/3 ORAL ORDER 24-06-2025 Heard Mr. Rahul Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Dhurjati Prasad Singh, learned G.P.-14. 2.The present petition has been preferred for the following relief/s:
(i) for issuance of a writ of Mandamus Commanding the respondent Nos-2 to 5 to pass an appropriate order in accordance with law on consideration of the case of the petitioner bearing Miscellaneous Ceiling Case No 45 of 1993 which has been pending for over 24 years;
(ii) for any other relief or reliefs as deemed fit and proper in the interest of Justice.
3. It is unfortunate that even for disposal of a case that too which has been filed in the year 1993, the petitioner has to approach the Patna High Court.
4. It is a serious matter and if the aforesaid Miscellaneous Ceiling Case No. 45 of 1993 is still pending, after hearing the relevant parties and noticing them, the respondents are duty bound to take the same to its logical conclusion at an earliest.
5. It is reiterated that the matter is of the year 1993
Patna High Court CWJC No.19015 of 2017(3) dt.24-06-2025 3/3 and we are in the year 2025.
6. The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observation.
