The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 667 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 342, 354, 384, 504, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of POCSO Act. The allegation is regarding the accused persons including the petitioner herein having tried to drag two daughters of the informant from their house and thereafter, having threatened them with dire consequences, if Rs. 5000/- was not paid. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case on account of certain dispute with the informant, who happens to be the neighbour of the petitioner. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31517 of 2018(4) dt.19-07-2018 2/2 petitioner is having a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 03.12.2017. It is also submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by whatsoever condition as may be imposed by this Court.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail. Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, POCSO Act, Begusarai in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 667 of 2017.

It is further directed that the petitioner would mark his attendance before the Officer-in-Charge of the concerned police station at 10:00 am. on each Monday of the week and in the event of two consecutive defaults, the present privilege of the regular bail shall stand cancelled automatically.
