The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Barachatti PS case no. 92 of 2018 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 212, 384, 386, 401, 427, 435 of Indian Penal Code.

The case of the prosecution is that some accused persons had burnt Pocklain machine of the informant and when the police came and searched the place, an Adhar card of one criminal namely Ashok Mahto was recovered.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been unnecessarily roped in the present case on the pretext that the said Ashok Mahto and others, prior to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29317 of 2018 (2) dt.22-05-2018 2/2 commission of the said occurrence, had assembled at the house of the petitioner herein. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and he is in custody since 03.02.2018. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the abovenamed petitioner is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of ACJM, Sherghati in connection with Barachatti PS case no. 92 of 2018.
