2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 7 of the E.C.Act, 1955.
3. As per F.I.R., the petitioner, being a PDS dealer, did not provide Government subsidized rice to the consumers and on the alleged date and time of incident, 300 kg (3 quintals) of rice was being transported by him with intention of sell the same in black market.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence, but due to political rivalry, petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. In fact, there was no shortage of rice, but due to defect in the POS machine, the above shortage of rice was shown. The petitioner is PDS dealer since 2018 and prior to this occurrence, not a single complaint was made against him. Petitioner claims

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Purnea in connection with Rupouli P.S. Case No. 136 of 2025, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
