The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Chanpatia P.S. Case No.298 of 2017 registered under Sections 429, 295, 295-A, 379 and 153-A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that 8 persons, named in the F.I.R., including the petitioner after slaughtering the cows were engaged in distributing the beef, as such, they hurt the feelings of the Hindu people.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, nothing was recovered from the house of the petitioner.

No.57112 of 2017 (2) dt.11-12-2017 2/2 Moreover, at the time of the occurrence, the petitioner was not at his house rather he was at Ludhiana (Punjab) in connection with earn his livelihood. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender by him within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-V, West Champaran at Bettiah, in connection with Chanpatia P.S. Case No.298 of 2017, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
