JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 22-01-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "i. For quashing the office order vide memo no.4466 dated 27/09/23 issued under the signature of Under Secretary to the Government, Planning and Development Department, Government of Bihar, Patna as contained in Annexure P/6, by which the service of the petitioner working as Executive Engineer, Local Area Engineering Organization, Work Division, District-Aurangabad has

Patna High Court CWJC No.15322 of 2023(3) dt.22-01-2024 2/3 been handed over to the parent department (Water Resources Department, Bihar, Patna) for administrative and further Shri Jitendra Kumar-1, respondent no.4 Executive Engineer, Local Area Engineering Organization, Work Division-02, Sherghati, District-Gaya, has been given additional charge.

ii. For commanding the state respondents to not disturb the petitioner in any way and allow the petitioner to work as usual.

iii. For restraining Shri. Jitendra Kumar-1, respondent no.4 Executive Engineer, Local Area Engineering Organization, Work Division-02, Sherghati, District-Gaya, to take additional charge as contained in Annexure P/6 after the service of the petitioner working as Executive Engineer, Local Area Engineering Organization, Work Division, DistrictAurangabad has been handed over to the parent department (Water Resources Department, Bihar Patna) for administrative reasons.

iv. For commanding the state respondents to not take any coercive

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievance. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
