1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) To issue direction upon Respondents to remove the encroachment from the Public Land, Drainage and well of Government of Bihar situated at Mauza Magardahi, Ward no.24, Near Magardahi Chowk Neem Gali P.S.- Town, District- Samastipur, having Khata no.140, Plot no.278 (old) 152(new), upon which the Encroachers have constructed Pucca Shop with Shutter illegally, in connivance with the Respondent Authorities, resulting in Water
Patna High Court CWJC No.16848 of 2023(2) dt.07-08-2024 2/2 logging and complete choking of drainage used by the petitioner and nearby residents."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Chief Executive Officer, Samastipur Municipal Corporation, Samastipur for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
