The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 6710 of 2017, arising out of Barh P.S. Case No. 288 of 2017 dated 04.10.2017 instituted for the offence under Sections 272 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a)(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Fifty five litres of liquor is said to have been recovered at the instance of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 05.10.2017 and does not have any criminal antecedent.

Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The petitioner, above named is directed to be

No.56795 of 2017 (2) dt.01-12-2017 2/2 released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 6710 of 2017, arising out of Barh P.S. Case No. 288 of 2017.
