2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109, 308(3), 352, 351(2) and 3(5) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and his father both demanded Rs. 50,000/- as Rangdari from the informant. When the informant objected, it is alleged that Dhananjay @ Kallu assaulted with iron rod on his head and

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that from perusal of the injury report, it is clear that the informant has received two injuries one is stitched wound over left temporal region and second is an abrasion over right cheek of size 3cm x 2cm. It is clear from the FIR, that the allegation against the petitioner is of assaulting the informant with iron rod on his body not on the head. So, the injury no. 2 can be attributed to the petitioner. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 09.03.2025.
5. Learned APP appearing for the State and learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer of regular bail and have submitted that the petitioner is having criminal antecedent of seven cases.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Agamkuan P.S. Case No. 198 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68184 of 2025(2) dt.24-09-2025 3/3 of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM, Patna City, Patna.
