JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 24-09-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent State. The father of the petitioner was working as an Assistant Teacher in Upgraded Middle School, Ramjanpur (Hindi), Anchal - Barbigha, District Sheikhpura. He died in harness on 07.06.2017. After the death of his father, petitioner submitted an application in the prescribed format for consideration of his case for compassionate appointment on 23.05.2018 before the competent authority. But no decision was taken by the respondents till date.

Considering the object of the compassionate

Patna High Court CWJC No.19649 of 2019(2) dt.24-09-2019 2/2 appointment, the Court direct the respondent to take appropriate decision with regard to the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment at the earliest, preferably within a period of 60 days from the receipt/production of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid, the present writ application stands disposed of.
