2. This writ application has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to grant the petitioner promotion to the post of Assistant Engineer, in accordance with the gradation list, which was published on 04.10.2001.

3. It appears that the Department has initiated an exercise for preparation of gradation list of Basic Grade Assistant Engineers (Civil) under Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar. A provisional gradation list has been issued and objections have been invited to the said provisional gradation list for the purpose of preparation of a final gradation

Patna High Court CWJC No.19650 of 2019(2) dt.07-11-2019 2/2 list. The petitioner has filed his objection, which is pending.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that his objection may be directed to be disposed of within a reasonable period of time.

5. Since provisional gradation list has been issued in April, 2019 and the concerned Officers have been asked to submit their objections within 45 days of the issuance of the provisional gradation list, in my view, it will be in the interest of justice, to dispose of the writ application with a direction to the respondents to publish final gradation list within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, after considering the objections received, pursuant to the letter dated 29.04.2019 (Annexure-2).

6. This writ application and I.A. No. 01 of 2019 stand disposed of.
