2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Barhat P.S. Case No. 59 of 2025, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 140(2) of the BNS.
3. As per the prosecution story, on secret information, police raided a forest area on 26.04.2025, where they rescued an injured victim, Gautam Kumar and apprehended three accused persons. The victim alleged that he was lured to the location where he was brutally assaulted, looted cash and forced to transfer money, while the group demanded Rs. 10 lakh as ransom from his brother.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It has further been submitted that the informant and accused persons are friends. Some dispute arose between them and the allegation of ransom is nothing but super addition. Co-accused
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69763 of 2025(2) dt.13-01-2026 2/2 person, Pratap Kumar Das has been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 27.08.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 58400 of 2025 and co-accused Vikash Kumar and Subodh Kumar Yadav have been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 26.11.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 54202 of 2025 and 57291 of 2025 respectively. The petitioner is a person of clean antecedent and is in custody since 26.06.2025.
5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-III, Jamui in connection with Barhat P.S. Case No. 59 of 2025, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
