The records reflects that the license has been refused on non-est and flimsy ground.

The State will not wait for the petitioner to suffer any injury and thereafter, license may be granted to him. The petitioner is pursuing his application for arms license, which is shown in the present case, the petitioner is a business man staying in the outskirts of Patna which is a crime prone area and there is no reason to refuse his application for arms license.

The State will reconsider the application of the petitioner, if required, the petitioner will file a fresh application in the new format alongwith training certificate and fitness certificate, so that his application is not rejected again.

Patna High Court MJC No.3316 of 2017(6) dt.13-10-2022 2/2 All these formalities by the petitioner shall be completed within six months from today, thereafter, the District Magistrate, Patna will reconsider the application of the petitioner.

It is expected that the entire exercise will be done within twelve weeks after fresh application is filed. With the aforesaid observations and directions this application is disposed of.
