JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 03-05-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "A writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders direction commanding the respondents for the following :- i. To pay compensation to the petitioner for illegally damaging his house by the Circle Officer with the help of the local police.

Patna High Court CWJC No.15432 of 2023(2) dt.03-05-2024 2/2 ii. To take appropriate action on the application dated 26.05.2022 and 23.09.2022 in accordance with law and direct the respondents to dispose off the said application on forthwith."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed of as not pressed.
