The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case under section 30a of the Bihar Prohibition of Excise Act, 2016. It is alleged that 17.850 liters of illegal foreign liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner. Defence of the petitioner is that the recovery has been made from his joint house and petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

In view of the nature of allegation, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused with direction to surrender and seek regular bail which would be disposed of on its own merit without prejudice.
