Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8/20(b)(ii)(b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
On recovery of 4 Kg. of Ganja, from out side the house of this petitioner, FIR was lodged against son of the petitioner and the son of the petitioner was remanded to jail. During investigation, the Supervising Authority found complicity of the petitioner.
Considering the aforesaid facts and the fact that the petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand)
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36125 of 2018 (2) dt.29-06-2018 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Supplementary Special (NDPS) Case No. 13 of 2017 arising out of Forbesganj Police Station Case No. 269 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner as well as condition that both the bailors shall be resident of within the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.
