Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The F.I.R. would reveal that the petitioner and others were involved in honour killing of Priti Kumari, the granddaughter of the petitioner. Some other family members were allowed bail by co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide Annexure2,for the reason that in his confessional statement, Ravindra Singh, the father of the victim girl had admitted sole responsibility for the occurrence.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34682 of 2018 (3) dt.02-07-2018 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Sessions Trial No.76 of 2018, arising out of Sasaram (Mufassil) Police Station Case No.1677 of 2017, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the court below and the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
