JUSTICE NAWNEET KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 13-04-2023 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Jaynagar P.S. Case No. 354 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that though the prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected, but he is renewing the prayer for bail on the ground that the petitioner is under custody since 26.07.2019 and the trial has not concluded as yet.

A report was called for from the learned court below about stage of the trial, which is at Flag-A. The report shows

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68387 of 2022(3) dt.13-04-2023 2/2 that the trial is going on and out of eleven charge-sheeted witnesses, six have been examined.

The learned trial court is directed to dispose of the case expeditiously and shall not give dates for more than a week.
