JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 24-09-2019 The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction upon the District Magistrate, Sasaram, Rohtas to dispose of the pending application of the petitioner for grant of licence for DBBL Gun under Rule 25 of the Arms Rules, 2016 inasmuch as his father has a valid arms licence and since he has become old, he has shown his desire for transfer of the said gun in the name of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be filing additional affidavit in the pending application before the District Magistrate, Sasaram at Rohtas, bringing to his notice applicability and non-applicability of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.19563 of 2019(2) dt.24-09-2019 2/2 relevant rules of the new Arms Rules, 2016.

This Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file additional affidavit in the pending application within a period of four weeks from today.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Sasaram at Rohtas to consider the additional affidavit, if any filed by the petitioner herein and thereafter, dispose of the pending application of the petitioner for grant of arms licence, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks of filing of the additional affidavit.
