2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Haraiya P.S. Case No. 84 of 2025 instituted for the offences under Sections 115, 118(1), 109, 351(1), 74, 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. As per prosecution case, the indictment against the accused persons including the petitioner is of demanding Rs. 10 lakh as extortion. It is further alleged that, on denial, they entered into the house of the informant and molested the women.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68657 of 2025(2) dt.24-09-2025 2/3 submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged against him and has falsely been implicated in the present case. There is a case and counter case between the parties. Prior to the alleged occurrence, the petitioner lodged a F.I.R. against the informant and her family members bearing Haraiya P.S. Case No. 83 of 2025. The present case has arisen from civil disputes. He further submits that in the alleged occurrence, both the parties have sustained injuries. From perusal of the injury report of the informant, it appears that there was no external injury upon his body. The petitioner has five criminal antecedents and, in all the cases, he is on bail and is languishing in judicial custody since 10.07.2025 without any rhymes or reason.

5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Having heard rival contention of both the parties and considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case, the period of custody of

No.68657 of 2025(2) dt.24-09-2025 3/3 the petitioner as also there being no specific allegation against the petitioner, let the petitioner, abovenamed, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Haraiya P.S.
