JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 23-11-2017 Having heard learned counsel for the appellant, we see no reason to make any indulgence into the matter. The petitioner having approached the Court for issuance of a duplicate mark sheet after 24 years, it is not appropriate to issue a mandamus at this stage.
However, the petitioner may submit a representation on which the Board shall cause an enquiry into the matter and if the records are available and rules permit issuance of a duplicate mark sheet at this stage, the same be issued to the petitioner within 24
Patna High Court LPA No.1622 of 2017 (2) dt.23-11-2017 2/2 hours from the date of presentation of the representation along with the certified copy of this order. The Officer shall record reasons, if issuance is not permissible.
