1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.(i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus, commanding the Respondent authorities to initiate an encroachment proceeding against the encroachers who are men of means and power and have illegally encroached the public land appertaining to Khata No. 66, Khesra No. 42, 52, 373, 374, 398 and Khata No. 67, Khesra No. 65, measuring area 06.70 acres, situated at Mauja Dhiva under Anchal Jhajha in the District of Jamui.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ, directing the Respondent authorities to take immediate and effective action and remove

Patna High Court CWJC No.15078 of 2024(2) dt.01-10-2024 2/2 illegal encroachment from the aforesaid public lands [as mentioned in Para no. 1(i)], which are fully for the use of general public but the encroachers have created nuisance, by taking the law in their hands."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Circle Officer, Jhajha, District-Jamui, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
