The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Paroo P.S. Case No. 242 of 2019 for the offence punishable under Sections 30 and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner happens to be the owner of the Bolero Pick Up No. Br-06GB-9345 which is commercial in nature.
