2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Baheri P. S. Case No. 84 of 2025 in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 74, 303(2), 352, 351(2), 3(5) and 109 of the BNS. Later on Section 103(1) of the BNS has also been added.

3. As per FIR, this petitioner along with two other co-accused assaulted to mother of the informant as a result of which during course of treatment she died.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 19.05.2025.

5. Learned counsel for the informant vehemently

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67836 of 2025(4) dt.24-11-2025 2/2 opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioner along with other co-accused persons assaulted the deceased due to which she sustained injuries and during the course of treatment died. Hence, he does not deserve regular bail.

6. Considering the nature of accusation, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, since petitioner is in custody since 19.05.2025, Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial, preferably, within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
