The petitioner is an employee of Private Spinning Mills which appears to have gone into liquidation and for which the liquidation proceedings are pending before the appropriate forum. The salary and other dues of the petitioner have not been paid to him for which he has approached this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. It is well settled that a writ cannot be issued to any private body as it is not amenable to the jurisdiction. As such, the petitioners are permitted to withdraw this application with liberty to seek

Patna High Court CWJC No.20936 of 2019(2) dt.10-01-2020 2/2 appropriate legal recourse in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations/directions the writ application stands disposed of.
