The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Special Case No. 2590 of 2018 arising out of Alamganj P.S. Case No. 132 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section(s) 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition of Liquor and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 18 liters of illicit liquor from the Auto.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is neither the owner nor the driver of the vehicle from where the said illicit liquor has been recovered. It is further submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 19.03.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the

No.32022 of 2018 (2) dt.24-05-2018 2/2 petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 2590 of 2018 arising out of Alamganj P.S.
